This Privacy Policy explains how AAAM Dev ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Boxwave mobile application ("Boxwave" or the "App"), listed on Google Play as Boxwave. Boxwave is the athlete-facing mobile app for CrossFit box members to book classes, view workouts, track personal records, and manage membership-related activities with their gym.

Scope

This policy applies to the Boxwave Android app and related services operated by AAAM Dev. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from the App.

Information We Collect

When you use Boxwave, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address, password (stored securely), and profile details you provide when creating or updating your account.
• Profile and athlete data: Name, date of birth, profile photo, and optional emergency or medical contact information provided by you or your gym.
• Activity and fitness data: Class bookings, attendance history, workout (WOD) results, personal records (PRs), and community posts or likes.
• Payment-related data: Payment proof images or documents you upload when your gym uses manual payment verification.
• Device and usage data: Device type, operating system version, app version, and general usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the App.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Create and manage your Boxwave account and authenticate you.
• Enable class booking, attendance tracking, and workout features requested by you and your gym.
• Process payment proof submissions and membership status with your gym.
• Send service-related notifications about bookings, account status, or security.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance and security of Boxwave.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these cases:

• With your CrossFit box (gym operator) so they can manage memberships, classes, and athlete records.
• With service providers that help us host, secure, and operate the App (under contractual confidentiality obligations).
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and AAAM Dev.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Boxwave services to you and your gym. When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 business days, except where we must retain certain records for legal, tax, or security purposes (for example, anonymized payment audit records or short-term security logs).

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or update the personal information in your account profile.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to legal or contractual limits.

Boxwave is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Boxwave after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
